SHM Stegherr is at GlassBuild America 2024 in Dallas, Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2024, Booth 15048. We have a joint booth with KPS Tool & Die. On display will be a Stegherr Cross Joint Milling Machine and a Coping Machine as well as a custom machine from KPS, which cuts adhesive tape and applies it to the back of the processed bars.

In March 2020 SHM Stegherr won an Austrian customer’s tender for a Profile Machining Center GLS-2 with an integrated CNC aggregate. Two similar saws have been in use for this customer since 2009 in two-shift operation. Purchasing argument for the customer’s capacity expansion was the high reliability of the existing two machines as well as the new possibilities of increasing his efficiency by running several working processes in one and the same machine.

A new version of the long tried and tested cross joint milling machine KSF-2E can combine two separate, complete systems for milling profiled bars for cross joints in one machine.

The KSF-2E is now available also with an automatic adjustment of the milling unit to the profile width.

The Coping Center KF-mini is even more versatile in its “QC”-version.

New optional device on the Coping Station KF is a fully automatic program controlled tool changer.

For 6 different operations on different profiles, program controlled – no changeover times.

The special milling machine for beaded face frames provides efficient milling technology for the – otherwise labor intensive and time consuming – manufacture of the classic frame joint for kitchen cabinet doors with beaded face frames.
